SBDC programs are organized around the strategies of offering to small businesses consulting, training, research, and advocacy. The reason for these strategies is to foster economic development. The Hawai`i SBDC Network�s Mission Statement begins, �To stimulate the economy . . . .� Ultimately, then, economic impact is the fundamental measurement of the program�s success.
