The Hawai‘i SBDC Network is a statewide program with service centers distributed over the 4 major islands of Kaua‘i, O‘ahu, Maui, and Hawai‘i.

Matching Dollars
The Hawai‘i SBDC Network has brought over $29 million in federal funds into the State of Hawai‘i since 1994. The ratio of state dollars to federal dollars has been approximately 1:9 during this period.

Well Established
The Hawai`i SBDC Network has been in operations for over 17 years in Hawai‘i
and is part of a 26-year old national program operating in all 50 states and in all U.S. territories.

MISSION
To foster businesses, hone individuals’ managerial and entrepreneurial skills, and provide resources that shape an economically and culturally vital Hawai‘i.

Annual Achievements:

• Consulting. Provide consulting to more than 1,200 small businesses annually.
• Training. Provide 77 workshops to more than 1,100 small business owners and prospective owners.
• Research. Through its Hawai`i Business Research Library, responds annually to more than 1,200 research inquiries from small businesses for critical information.

Awards:

• Hawai‘i State Award of Excellence. Received in 1998.
• National Economic Development Project of the Year Award for 1999.
• Accreditation. In 1998, 2002, & 2006.
